Women of Excellence Breakfast
Will You Be There? On December 4, 2009, NAFE will honor this year’s Women of Excellence at a Gala Awards Breakfast. Members like Regional Coordinator Robbie Motter and network director June Davis are coming all the way from California. If you live in the New York metro area, you won’t want to miss this premier networking and awards event!

The breakfast will be hosted by The New York Times Company at their Manhattan location, with sponsorship provided by IBM, Office Depot, State Farm Insurance and Wellpoint – and a brand new sponsor: Transportation Security Administration. NAFE member Charron Walker, a breast cancer survivor, was honored by The Victorious Woman Project. Charron is the founder of the Young Survivors Network, a group that “understands the special needs of young women with breast cancer and is dedicated to supporting those needs.”

The 2009 Women of Excellence winners are perhaps the most outstanding group yet in our awards program. From creating successful companies in post-Communist Poland to a stint in the Biosphere, our winners have done it all. They’ll deliver career advice and personal stories at our Awards Breakfast on December 4th. Here’s just a preview of what this year’s seven winners have to share:
